Every price is read directly from the retailer's own structured product data (the same feed that powers their product page), so it matches what you'd see on the vendor's site. We never scrape a random number off the page or invent a price — if a page doesn't publish a machine-readable price, we tell you we can't track it rather than show a guess. Prices can still change between checks, so always confirm the final price at the retailer before buying.

Thousands of Shopify-powered brand stores work today (Fellow, Everlane, Naadam, Allbirds, Death Wish Coffee and many more). Some large retailers — Amazon, Best Buy, Target and Walmart — block automated price reads or render prices only in your browser, so we can't verify their live price reliably yet. The Deal Score is a single 0–100 reading of how good today's price is, based purely on the price history we've actually recorded for that product. 100 means it's at the cheapest we've ever seen it; 0 means it's at its most expensive. A score of 80+ earns a Buy Now call, 50–79 is a Fair Price, and below 50 is Wait. We only publish a score once we have at least three readings, so a single seed price never poses as a confident recommendation.

We measure today's price against the actual price history we've recorded for that product — its true high, low and typical price — not against a retailer's self-declared "original" price. A deal is only scored a Real Deal when the current price is genuinely at or near its lowest tracked level. If it's above the typical price, we'll call it Inflated; in between, it's a Watch.

No — and we're being upfront about that. For now dealradarsapp sends you a smart alert the moment your target price is hit, so you make the purchase yourself. Automated buying ("Smart Buy recommendations") involves real payment, fraud and refund responsibilities we won't ship until it's fully built and trustworthy, so it's on the roadmap as "coming soon", not available today.
